Three Legged Friends Race to Save Fins.

Fish4divers.com are organising a three legged fin race which will take place at venues all over the world (local beaches, playing fields, sports halls etc) on Saturday 10th July 2010 at 3pm. You will need to enlist the help of a buddy and get yourself a pair of fins( even if its just borrow them! ) Then download a sponsorship form and on July 10th at 3pm get yourself and buddy to the venue, put on your fins and then run! The event is being held to help raise awareness about shark finning and raise much needed funds for the shark trust in order for them to continue their constant fight to protect our sharks.
We will be contacting schools, local community groups, in fact everyone we can think of to ask them to get involved with this fun event.
There will be three trophies to be awarded to the groups that raise the most funds.
We are also hoping to get this event as much media coverage as we can and asking the whole of diving community and as many conservation groups as possible to get involved.
We are looking for co-ordinators to help with organising the event at the different venues and overseeing the race on the day. If you are interested in helping or want a sponsorship form please contact either Dawn or Shaun.
