It will be interesting to see if any boats try it, most commercial boat insurance doesn’t cover going to sea with a F6 forecast.

Westerly wind gave us a hard time on Friday, Coast Guard issued a strong wind warning of Gale 8 !! so that was that.....turned the boat back to Falmouth and took a beating all the way home. Bonus was that managed to get to the trade stands on the Saturday instead of being at sea !! A big well done to Saldive for all the hard work , Just rotten luck with the weather.
