Hey everyone, so I’ve been diving since 2002, with some 600+ dives in such places as Costa Rica (Cocos Is), Belize, Galapagos, Mexico (Socorro Is.), England (Cornwall), Egypt (Sharm), Mozambique (Tofo), Maldives, Thailand (Koh Tao, Surin & Similans), Indonesia (Wakatobi, Bali, Lembeh, Bunaken, Java), Malaysia (Mabul, Sipidan, Kapalai), Papua New Guinea (Milne Bay), New Zealand (Poor Knights), Australia (Cape Byron), Vanuatu, Fiji and Philippines.
Thing is, I’ve done all the above pretty much alone, or with whoever is buddied up with me. Might be nice to actually meet up with, dive and generally hang out with people who are as obsessed as me. None of my friends in the UK dive - it’s a pain in the ****!
I also have a keen interest in underwater photography and some of my pictures can be seen here http://tinyurl.com/kv5flb
I have done volunteer work for the Shark Trust and Shark Conservation Society for 3 years and have been involved with several conservation projects.
So, be my buddy - let’s get wet together (ooer)!
I am dry suit qualified, but have not dived in a dry suit (just learnt at Gildy). Having qualified in Maldives, I’ve been raised as a warm water diver. I have done 6 UK dives and want to do more - I can’t be arsed to sit on a plane for 10+ hours and spend 1000s of pounds, when there’s all sorts of fishies and thingies around UK to find.
More into fish than metal, send me a message if you fancy increasing your social circle by 1!
