Hi all

So we can get an idea of numbers and also whether people just want to meet at LIDS or go out in the evening for a drink or go for a drink and a meal can you please select an option on the above poll. Once we know what people want to do we will look at where to meet etc.

Can those who have already registered an interest or said they are going please complete the poll as well.

Can all matters relating to the Social event be put on this thread from now to make it easy for me to keep track in my old age (that’s me Shaun not Dawn)

Whoops, I accidentally voted for “Meet at LIDS only” . There was not a option for any of the above. If nothing else I will see you all at LIDS.

If we can have some sort of idea on how many people are going to attend and what we are doing, i can book whichever place we decide to go to.

I am always in the Excel Centre area and know most places around there.

If you are looking for hotels in the area then there is a Holiday Inn about 5 minutes walk from Excel Centre.

There are multiple bars and restaurants in the area and i can provide a list for whatever type of food you wish to eat.

Just let me know and ill sort something out.

Just to let everyone know that the Ideal Homes Exhibition is also on at Earls Court in case anyone was wanting that bit more of a trip? Went previously and is a BIG event well worth the visit too!

Don’t forget to get your Dive kit serviced while it’s cold.. Best to do it BEFORE the season starts in earnest guys and gals!!

Does anyone have any preference for where to go for a meal?

We can either stay around the Docklands area or catch the tube and go further into london and maybe covent garden?

I too would suggest to stay around Docklands area, but am happy to go with the flow.

Well for those of us going out Saturday after the show the docklands area is looking favorite for a meal and its within staggering distance for the hotels so we will see what can be sorted out. Any preferences on food type ?

If you let me know you are going to LIDS either just for the show or for the meal after I will pass on my mobile number to you so we can meet up.
