Well only just over two weeks till this years Divefest and hopefully the weather will behave this year and the sun will be out in all its glory.

Just wondering who is going so we can all catch up over a nice cool non alcoholic drink

hi mate we were sopposed to be going but was laid off the other month :-( so will be giving it a miss until we get back on our feet. Hope you all have a fab time without us. Get a dive in for us

I’m staying a couple of miles away from the event and will be arriving there late afternoon all being well.

Well I did not get to dive as after dipping a toe in the water it turned blue and I ran away in shock

It was a great few days catching up with you all and sorry to anyone I missed but the lack of phone signal complicated things a bit. Overall though the weekend went very well congratulations to the Divefest organisers for putting on another highly enjoyable event and the bands and food were fantastic too.

If you did manage to get wet where did you dive and what was it like?

Hopefully it will not be long before our next social event and some diving as well.

Four of us dived off Trojan Warrior unfortunately, I am ashamed to say, I cannot remember the name of the sites as it was not possible to record them straight away (maybe someone can help with this) although there was a three mast sailing vessel, a dredger and very nice reef.Temp was 9C I was reasonably comfy in my wetsuit except for getting chilly on the boat.
We had an excellent crew Alan and Chris who greeted us with nice hot cups of tea/coffee after our dive.
Personally I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend diving with Ian and Jim.

divefest was good, copious amounts of hot chocolate, if not diving, sadly our rib was seriously off colour so only wet i got was pushing her in and out and being dunked by my buddy!! still my dry suit didnt appear to leak at least!

Rosemary i wonder if your dredger was the Kantoing?, i dived it last year, fab wreck with all the buckets in tact.

Hoping to get some dives in v soon, so will be interested if we manage any fish4 ones!!
