Has anyone dived the Bournemouth surf reef?

Although initially it would seem to be an odd and maybe boring place to dive due to just being bags of sand strategically placed to increase waves for surfers there may be a bonus for divers. Although not as glamorous as wrecks that have been sunk to create artificial reefs the reef is starting to see sea weed and grasses growing on it and this in turn should result in marine life being attracted to the area. Dependant on currents and surfers this could make an ideal dive site.

Do you think it would be worth diving?
