Description

Having tried it on and off during my twenties and not being quite sure, I finally got into diving in 2007, making the most of the warm tropical waters of Borneo whilst my fiancee was teaching at the international school there.
We both subsequently completed our PADI Open Water Diver in the local marine park before jetting over to the east coast to dive at Pulau Sipadan. We then travelled south east asia, and managed to do some further diving in Thailand and Vietnam before heading home to the UK.
I completed my Advanced OWD Course in Egypt when on honeymoon, and have been adding specialities ever since. Now I’ve hit 100 dives I will hopefully do the Rescue Diver & another Speciality within the next year to get my Master Scuba Diver Certification.
Considering Divemaster training too, but will have to wait and see, want to get a bit more experiience, maybe even try diving in the UK??
Its fair to say that I’m a tropical diver and as yet, have not braved either the seas around our coast or any inland lakes.
I love South East Asia and try and get back there at least once every other year, so inbetween are content with Red Sea holidays for my annual diving fix, especially like liveaboard diving with Blue O Two.
Just had 2 weeks in Taba, Egypt at the top of the Gulf of Aqaba. Enjoyed 4 relaxing days of diving the 3 house reef dive sites from shore and 2 days of boat diving.
Did my second solo Blue O Two Liveaboard in December. Stayed on the Blue Melody for the Northern Wrecks & Reefs itinerary, and had a fantastic week, all 21 dives completed.
Now looking forward to my 3rd Blue O Two adventure, this time with my wife for New Year 2012/2013. Doing the HAYAH Reef Clean Up, following the North & Ras Mohammed itinerary onboard Blue Voyager.
