Breakwater Beach, Brixham, Devon

Although I did not dive here this time thought I would write a quick review of the location which may be of some help if you have not been here before. There is a car park right on the edge of the beach but you need to get there early in the morning to get parked. There is however a pay and display multi-story car cark just over the road and it’s only a couple of minutes walk away so is perfectly adequate. The beach itself is made up of stones and not sandy so make sure you have some sort of footwear when walking on it. On one side of the beach is the breakwater itself and on the other is a rocky headland. There is a walkway running between the car park and the edge of the beach which provides an excellent place to kit up etc and then it is only a very short walk to the waters edge. There is a cafe located at one side of the beach by the car park and there are also public toilets. In all this is a good location with good access and seems to be a popular location for divers of all experience levels. I look forward to diving here in the future.
